Moore's Law

  Moore's law is about the computing hardware. It decribed a long term trend of its' history.   Integrated Circuits (IC) can hold the number of transistors, about every 12 months (Moore 1975, 12 months will be changed to 18 months) will be doubled, the performance will also be doubling, when the price of the same Time; or that every dollar can buy computer performance every 12 months to more than double.

    IT Industry First Law - Moore's Law, the tall "shadow" hanging over the semiconductor field, today it is to eliminate.
  37 years, it advocated the "faster, smaller, cheaper"philosophy, making the entire IT industry, risen to become another "Olympic" arena. Intel also rely on this to become dominant in the industry. However, today's "Moore's Law, " Intel is becoming "the first spell. " Intel is not only restricted, but also imprisoned the entire semiconductor industry.
  Now, with the South Korean semiconductor resurgence and the rise of China Semiconductor, the global semiconductor industry has changed, the cycle law will also be completely different. Expectations based on a good day for the old law, might not be happened.
  To be able to catch up with the pace of Moore's Law, the chip industry have to chip design, new materials and new technology have a major breakthrough. However, when chip makers in their brains to improve chip performance and reduce the heat of the time, also contributed to the design and production problems. Meyerson, chief technology officer, IBM said, we are in a major shift in the chip industry during the period, the traditional thinking is no longer applicable, we must rely on innovation.
  Now, not only competitors in the market as well as upstream and downstream speeds are no longer blindly follow the Moore's Law increase, even Intel's own, too quiet departure from the law of which it is respected. For example Centrino product, no longer to upgrade speeds as a selling point, but bundled with a wireless communication module, the combination of computing and communication technologies.
  Moore's law can't still keep the position of the past 40 years. it slowly stepped down.

Advantage and Disadvantage

  What I have learnt:
  As the first experience to make a blog by myself, it's really excited to me. Though I have no professional skills and websites for blogging, I just try my best to make it. First, I have known what is a blog and the basic methods. It is a good treasure in my study, because it is not so popular in China and really different. I read some excellent blogs in the Internet, though I can't reach the level, I improve myself step by step with so many perfect examples.

What I enjoyed most during the whole process:
  It is really a hard process for my blog, it seems like I am a pregnant woman, it's a joke. But I really don't want to start this assigment always, because I feel afraid of it. I really think I can't finish, I am lack of confidence. Finally, I am forced myself to face to the problem. I asked my classmates from apply an account of blog, I continue my work slowly, fortunately I finish it finally. It is really a good harvest in my study.

What can I improve in the future:
  If I start my work earlier, if I didn't waste the time because of my laziness, if I spent more time and work harder to learn how to make a good quality blog, maybe I can do it better. The most important point that I need improve is " working hard" and " confindence".

Disadvantage:
  Language will be a big problem, I can't analysis  the leacture topic exactly, maybe I can't understand as well as the other classmates. Also I am not good at writing , my writing skill is not professional. And because of the limitation of my skills in making blog, it seems monotonous. All of these disadvantages noticed me that I need learn more in the future.

The Internet of things

  Radio Frequency Identification RFID is a non-contact automatic identification technology, radio frequency signal through the automatic target recognition and access to relevant data, to identify work without human intervention, can work in a variety of harsh environments. RFID technology can identify the high-speed moving objects can also identify multiple tags, the operation quickly and conveniently.

           RFID is a simple wireless system, only two basic components, the system used to control, detect and track objects. System consists of an interrogator (or reader) and a lot of transponders (or tags) component. 
       
Prospect: The future trend of  RFID market is really considerable. With RFID technology applications continue to promote and popularize, RIFD from the conceptual level real gradual transition to full application of the hierarchy, the application will be wider.

   

Augmented reality

  If you are a driver, you can experience the feeling of augmented reality everyday, though you don't know what is it , you use it everyday, and you can't leave it. You don't understand what's the meaning, I will show you at once.

  Augmented reality is usually used for both computer games and mobile games, it is really popular for young people, it can strengthening the real touch and feeling of games. Add the technology of augmented reality, it makes the players enter the circumstances of games.

  For example,  an augmented
reality  game may  be as simple  as a scavenger  hunt  of  virtual
flags  hidden  in the physical  environment.  More  compelling
effects  may  emulate  the abilities  of the protagonists  in myths
and modem  stories in science fiction  and fantasy.  For example,
the  augmented  reality  hardware  may  seem  to  augment  th
senses of the  player,  giving  him  the  ability  to  see  through
physical  walls  to virtual  objects  in the game, hear a whisper  a
great  distances,  see other  players!

  When I got this leacture topic, the first word come to my mind must be " social networking." The most fimilar and largest markets of digital industries around me. From China to UK, I got more and more social network, and I spent more time on them. It has become a neccessary part of my daily life. Image, if you live without facebook, MSN, myspace, and there is not any social networking in your life, could you " survived"? And do you still think the world is wonderful?

It is contains the interactive power of computer and communications technology, computer-enabled consumer devices and most importantly the Internet. Mobile media is the representative of it. With the development of the Internet and computer technology, this kind of media become more and more popular, it plays an important role in nowadays. It is really an excellent assistant to all of us in different kinds of use.

  While it’s difficult to forecast exactly how technology will expand, we are constantly researching, looking forward, and gathering insights to imagine how technology investments today can improve people’s way of life in the future.

  Future visions films are always  amazing and "unbeliveable." It is an imaging world from people's mind. However, it is based on the reality life. Most of this series of films, they are around ET or roberts, both of them are the protagonists. Because they are the unknown field to people, fresh and fantastic. It seems like a mysterious girl covered with veil. That's the reason why the films compaines want to use the future visions themes, it can be satisfied with people's curiosity and ensure the rate at the box office.

It is close contact associated with our daily lives.
  If  you are a housewife, will you feel boring when you are doing tedious chores? You want shopping, beauty, party and funny. " Impossible is nothing," with the development of digital technology, you have a lot of choices when you are doing the housework: Listen to the music, no matter you want rock or jazz music, just press the button; Watch the films and dramas, or you'd like some entertainment plays for pleasure; Shopping? no problem, just surf the Internet, millions of clothes, cosmetics in different prices, from your husband to your children. And then you will find that housewife is not desperate, it is hopeful and colorful.
  If you are a student, you must sleep or absent in your courses, don't deny about the truth. But how could you fetch up the mistakes? With the help of computers, you can solve the problem easily. If you really like the feeling in class, you can choose the distance education with your computers. many teachers have successfully prepared students, some with computers in the classroom and some without. Teachers could avoid computers, either because they chose not to learn how to use them or because they had none in their classroom or school to use.

  Digital technology affects our life at home, social life, education field and working. Without it, the world will become crazy.
